Lime Energy Relocates Headquarters to Huntersville — August 22, 2011

It was so much fun to be at the announcement this afternoon at Charlotte’s Hilton Hotel in front of business leaders from across the region. To hear Huntersville’s name in conjunction with yet another leading energy related corporation never gets old!

After all, how can corporations NOT see our quality of life, the transportation network, the continual planning and forecasting for a healthy future and all that we have to offer?!

Remember that for every new employee a corporation relocates to our town, statistics show that nearly 1.6 service jobs are created as a result. Welcome our new residents, make yourself known as a business to the new corporations, be accessible, available, friendly and interested.

We have an awfully lot going for us in Huntersville today — Lime Energy’s announcement and the news that Discovery Place Kids has now reached 200,000 visitors since their opening on October 23rd (by comparison, the NASCAR Hall of Fame had 300,000 in their first full year).

Write me — let me brag about your business next!
