Prepping for “Fall Into Huntersville”

Yesterday morning I put out an email request asking for volunteers for the upcoming “Fall Into Huntersville” campaign. This annual campaign began several years ago via the Destination Huntersville roundtable group as an opportunity to showcase all the events and activity that happens in our area in the time frame from late August until Thanksgiving.

I’ve always promised simplicity in my blogs and so let me fulfill that promise in this entry: I am overwhelmed by the immediate responses from such a variety of entities — small businesses, destinations, non-profits — who simply want to work together to show off our community.

We have a website, we will work on calendarizing the events and filling in the holes for the “slower periods”, but of course, we’ll be receptive to ideas. You don’t have to volunteer to be on the committee to share your ideas. Start here, or email me at

After all, Fall Into Huntersville is all about you.
